Famílias que ocuparam Fazenda São Roque hoje são despejadas violentamente pela PM

As cerca de 500 famílias que ocuparam hoje, 28 de novembro, a fazenda São Roque acabam de ser violentamente despejadas pela Tropa de Choque da Polícia Militar. ÊEmbora não haja conhecimento de pedido de reintegração de posse e sendo proibido realizar despejos noturnos, os policiais chegaram ao local batendo nos trabalhadores rurais e destruindo os barracos.

A Fazenda São Roque, de aproximadamente 1000 hectares, está localizada no município de Franco da Rocha (50 km da capital). ƒ terra devoluta, improdutiva, não cumpridora da função social e pertence ao Governo do Estado de São Paulo.

Em 27 de setembro, os acampados tiveram audiência com o ITESP (Instituto de Terras do Estado de São Paulo), Incra (Instituto Nacional de Colonização e Reforma Agrária) e Prefeitura de São Paulo, além da CPT (Comissão Pastoral da Terra), quando foi indicada a Fazenda São Roque para o assentamento rururbano das famílias, já que a vistoria realizada considerou-a apta para a Reforma Agrária, com 550 hectares agriculturáveis. Contudo, a terra ainda deveria ser repassada para o ITESP, segundo acordos firmados antes da vistoria. O descumprimento deste acordo impediu o assentamento das famílias.

Estas famílias haviam ocupado em 7 de setembro uma área de terra improdutiva no município de Arujá. Depois de quase três meses de acampamento, foram despejadas injustamente, não tendo outra alternativa senão ocupar outro latifúndio na região próxima ˆ grande São Paulo para reivindicar o assentamento.
