The Minister of the Supreme Court, Jorge Scartezzini accepted the thesis of the lawyers of the accusation and granted the suspension of the trial of those accused of the massacre until the argument of suspicion of Judge Eva do Amaral Coelho, made for the lawyers of the MST, is decided upon by the Court of Justice of Pará.

O Ministro do Superior Tribunal de Justiça, Jorge Scartezzini acatou a tese dos advogados da acusação e concedeu liminar que suspende a realização do julgamento dos acusados do massacre de Eldorado dos Carajás até que a argüição de suspeição da juíza Eva do Amaral Coelho, feita pelos advogados do MST, seja julgada pelo Tribunal de Justiça do Pará.
