Member of the MST National Leadership Committee, João Pedro Stedile, received the Cândido Mendes Award on December 11th for his tireless work for agrarian reform. The ceremony was held at the University of Cândido Mendes. The Public Democratic Ministry Movement and Senator Saturnino Braga received the Alceu Amoroso Lima Human Rights Award. The Freedom Award was given to Plínio de Arruda Sampaio.
