Dear Friends,

The military police expelled MST families from two encampments last night in Quêrencia do Norte. Dozens of MST families were displaced from their homes and one person, João Pernao, was arrested and severely beaten.

In addition, a local judge issued arrest warrants for all MST leaders in the region.
